Accidentally deleting files is often times terrible. Deletion on Windows can be performed using various options. Once the files are deleted it just merely makes the files invisible to the user and still stays in Hard disk until another file overwrites it.  That means the file content stored on the drive gets deleted only after the hard disk reuses the space and over writes the fresh data to that space.
